Southern Group Island

Two boat rides and an hour and a bit later we arrived at our island. The colourful shacks contrasted with the turquoise, clear as glass waters of the encircling. Our island's shacks, each painted a different colour of the brightest shade was modeled after Murano, Italy.  This was a seemingly appropriate theme with the predominately Italian population of fishermen that held the leases here.
On arrival, few locals greeted us and helped tie up.  The atmosphere was relaxed, casual and friendly.
The sun dipped over the horizon and the light dimmed. Laughing and chatter in the foreground of the  remote silence signaled that happy hour  had began.
