Fruitiful Carnarvon

Leaving the drier part of Western Australia behind the climate changed noticeably as we arrived into Carnarvon. I could very easily liken it to Vietnam with it's rows of banana plantations, coconut trees, and humidity (minus the zillions of Vietnamese on scooters). This little oasis was so welcomed as fresh fruit and veggies are pricey in WA and not the best quality because of the remoteness and crazy distances. First fruity stop we stocked up on mango, avocados, coconuts, custard apple, and bananas. We took the a tour of the a plantation where we learned all about the banana growing agriculture industry and viewed adorable baby bananas and a the beautiful banana flower.
