At the information centre at Uluru you will find the Sorry book. Inside it's pages are hundreds of letters sent from past visitors from all over the world. Each letter contains a similar message, an apology for taking a small peice of Uluru and recognition that they are returning what they took. Most of the letters are accompanied by a small rock and request forgiveness.. Many of the letters attest to a run of bad luck after taking the small souvenier. Either way the book makes for great reading and leaves one wondering if it is best to resist the temptation of taking a small rememberence of this place.
