In the town center of Normanton QLD is a life sized sculpture of the whopping 8 metre saltwater croc which was killed by a lady in the 70's.

Easy to feel insignificant next to these monsters. They are like a gigantic serpents with a whip like tail. The last few cars sway back and forth crossing the center line and sending up a cloud of blinding
red dirt. All is to scary so we just pull over and let them pass. This one here is 5 cars long and the longest we've seen so far.
