Handrail Pool decent. Very steep and slippery. Without the handrail (fondly know as lifeline) passage wouldn't be possible without climbing equipment.
The early passage attempts were to stay high and dry however it became increasingly more evident that the lower route (swimming) was safer and simpler.
The prize was a brief glimpse of Jade Pool. Only certified abseils and rock climbers are allowed to continue from this point as once you descend, there's no route up without ropes.
