Regarded as one of Australia's most unique landscapes, these amazing limestone spires rise eerily out of the sand, some several metres tall. You can get up close to the Pinnacles on a short scenic drive and walk trail that includes an amazing lookout over the Nambung National Park. From this scenic point they seem to go on forever.
It's believed the Pinnacles were created millions of years ago as seashells were broken down into sand. The bizarre golden sand has the texture and colour of corn meal . They were then eroded by water and wind to form the unique shapes we see today. It is a surreal experience walking through the endless spires with each begging you to climb. One wild, weird, and intriguing experience.
