Fishing at the Abrohlos is a win-win. Fish were plentiful and we happen to have the best equipment (state of the art fish finding computers), excellent fishing guides (long time commercial fishermen) and a super productive coral reef surrounding the Abrohlos 60km from the mainland Australia. The water was clear as glass and you could see fish swimming below. I could even see a friendly octopus hiding in a piece of coral. Bierley was seasoned crayfish shells and blood. Bait was anchovies and octopus and hand lines were used. I don't even like fishing however this was nonstop action. I soon learned why a glove is needed with a hand line.
The small ones went back.
