The fatal flaw was the fan belt. Forty kms out of Katherine on the Stewart Hwy was our stopping point. Just one bar of 3G left on the moby proved enough to make that desperate call to RACT for a free tow (caravan and all). Back to Katherine we went with the nice trucky man. Best $70 spent on the trip...RACT roadside assistance annual membership. Priceless!
Travel insanity has sent in.
The camp spot for the night was a top a ridge accompanied by a sunset, sizzling steaks, campfire, and a good sleep.
