On several occasions we were greeted by a small school of trusting Bat Fish. These tall fish would gently slurp food from our fingers. Bread was a favorite.

Something from outer space? Lindermen Island.
This unidentified spiky (needle sharp) weird thing resembled a sand burrowing walnut. The creepy spikes quikley extended when touched and slowly retracted when left alone. Last time we were seen walking on the tidal sands without shoes.
