A Broome locals told us that you won't find another outside toilet between Broome and Darwin that doesn't have a resident population of green tree frogs.
Any one flush will wash as many as 15 frogs from under the rim and send them swirling down into the depths of the hole. They emerge once more and make their way back under the rim.
